  My husband and I were about ready to get a new dishwasher before trying this product. All other dishwasher packs, powder, or liquid that we've used left residue on our dishes. These 7th generation packets clean our dishes extremely well, leaving no residue on anything. This price can't be beat! I've compared many stores and online pricing, and this is the best deal you can get.

  We've used the half-dozen or so liquid and powder dishwasher detergents over the years. On a fluke we purchased the Seventh Generation Auto Dish Pacs at Whole Foods and were impressed by the difference in getting our dishes cleaned and with less spotty (we have hard water) results than we have seen before. Knowing they are good for the ennvironment is a great bonus. A definite buy.

  I'll give the product 2 stars because I purchased it for its eco-friendly ingredients, but, at least with my dishwasher, the product doesn't always seem to dissolve completely - and that is with a dishwasher that processes for 90 minutes!

  I was looking to purchase the eCover dishwasher tablets, but they weren't in stock at my local store, so I picked up the Seventh Generation Pacs because they were there and I needed them "now". My expectations weren't high because I have a an older dishwasher that hasn't been doing a great job even using Cascade Extra Action Pacs. I was shocked when I opened the door to unload the dishwasher after my first load with a Seventh Generation Pac. Not only was everything clean, but my glasses were much clearer than I have seen them in quite awhile. I'm thrilled and will be looking to purchase these again in a larger quantity! It's a real bonus that they're made by an eco-friendly company and are better for the environment than my former dishwashing detergent.

  The product works very well for us. We tend to rins dishes that may have food that could cake on them befor eplacing them in the dishwasher. These pacs do the job wonderfully. That they are environmentally friendly is a big plus for. Ordering more.

  I switched to these pacs because I clean my baby bottles in the dishwasher and didn't want to use the harsh chemicals in the other brands. These pacs do tend to leave residue on your dishes, especially on tupperware, as compared to the cascade pacs. I also recently talked to a diswasher repair man and he said that the 7th gen isn't good for the diswasher cause it leaves a residue. He suggested switching to the Finish Quantum brand instead because they too have removed the phosphates from their cleaners. Once I run out of these, I am going to look into using the Quantums instead.

  I'm not sure what happened. When I first made the switch to Seventh Generation Dish Pacs, I was in LOVE. They cleaned just as well as the conventional brands, but they didn't make my dishes stink of perfume, they aren't full of chemicals, AND they kicked some dirty dish butt. Unfortunately, I've been noticing lately that the Seventh Generation Dish Pacs leave a powdery residue on plastics. They still do fine cleaning glasses, silverware, and stoneware dishes, but I end up having to hand wash all of my toddler son's plastic cups, plates, and bowls. Well, I don't really have time for that. At first I totally blamed this on the dishwasher itself, but after switching to Method as a test, I realize that something in Seventh Generation Dish Pacs has changed. Bummer. On the other hand, I am starting to get rid of all of our plastics. But until then, I'm going to have to stick with Method.

  I'm pleased with Seventh Generation dish washer packs. They do leave white dust sometimes (which I just rinse off), but they get my dishes very clean, and I feel better using them because they're free of phosphates, chlorine, & synthetic fragrances. Plus, with Subscribe & save, they're one of the better deals.
