Therefore, my vote goes to the Finish Quantum Base with the regular Finish coming in second and The Cacade ActionPacs are third. Since I have always been a loyal Cascade user, I was disappointed with the results. But I ran a fair test and and Cascade lost. I was sorry to see it be so. So, I only give this product three stars and will remain with the Quantum Base unless Cascade comes along with a better scrubbing product.
I throw this in and start my dishwasher. They work great and using Subscribe and Save means I get them cheaper and never run out. What more could you ask for?!
I was debating replacing my dishwasher because it's old and well it's just old :-) I was content just using kirland brand dishwasher soap until my neighbor gave me a few to try. From the 1st one, I immediately saw the difference in the dishes and how it even clean my dishwasher. I was sold and bought a couple packs these. My washer washes like new again thanks to cascade!
These Cascade ActionPacs sounded great - just drop in a pod and you're good to go. My dishes came out reasonably clean, but about 20% of them (mostly on the bottom rack) came out with an ugly white residue on them. I really had to scrub with a mild abrasive to get it off. I might not have the best dishwasher in the world, but it does a fine job with a gel detergent. Amazon was great, though, and accepted my return.
Product does a good job getting the dishes clean. I like that just the right amount of detergent is built into the actionpac. When using auto-ship, this product is priced very competitively. I have recommended this product to my friends.
I like this detergent and the small pillows you just throw in the dishwasher. I have had it with the powder type clogging the cup and not opening and the liquid type not getting all out of the cup. These work great. Just toss them in and clean, shinning dishes, even in hard water without rinse aid. Like that it has bleach in it too.
I tried a phosphate-free dishwasher soap ~12 months ago that was horrible but this new product is much better. I used this on three loads of holiday dishes and the only problem I noticed was on one load with tomato sauce: there were little red specks left on a white plastic bowl. They rinsed off easily, but I've never seen this problem before.

Never again. Cascade all the way. The difference is enough I don't mind spending a little extra for it.
