  I've tried Seventh Generation and other eco products, all of which either left a residue or simply didn't clean as well as these tablets. My dishes don't smell heavily of detergent and my tempramental dishwasher doesn't seem to mind a solid dishwashing detergent. One important caveat is this: I have found that unless I use the Ecover rinse aid along with the detergent, my glasses do streak.

  These are by far my favorite natural dishwashing tablets. No smell and they actually clean the dishes. My go to from now on and Amazon has a good price.

  Despite our concern that the eco-type of dishwasher tabs would not be the same quality, we are very pleased with this product! We have very "hard" water which used to leave a lot of stain on dishes. We always had to use something in addition to the dishwashing liquid to take care of the stains. With Ecover we forgot about this problem! Great product and comparable price, and nice to think we are not using harsh chemicals that pollute the water.

  Works well and good for the septic system. Can't ask for more. I am a user for life now. Easy to use pill.

  This works great in my dishwasher. We have really hard scummy water. We use this and the ecover rinse aid and everything is always really clean. Liquid dishwasher detergents don't work for us. This does have a lemon smell that smells a little chemical-y at first. I'm very sensitive to chemicals and it never bothers me after the first 5 minutes the dishwasher runs. Very happy with this product.

  Costco carried this for a while but as usual, they are very schizophrenic in what new products they carry and for how long. I wish it comes back, but in the meantime, subscribe and save with Amazon is the best deal out there!

  I have lots of allergies and can not tolerate strong detergent odors. These tablets work great and don't stink up the house. These tablets are also much easier on the environment than most.

  If you've been wanting a natural dishwasher detergent but have been disappointed by the liquids you've tried, this product will make you happy. It does a great job, although you must not compare it to a regular, bleach-containing product because you will be disappointed. However, very occasionally having to re-wash an item or wipe tea residue out of a mug is a small price to pay for avoiding toxic chemicals. My tip to help this workhorse work even harder? Fill your open (pre-wash) slot with white vinegar; since discovering this trick, my results have been very close to those from traditional detergents.
