  I should mention the scents because I saw someone say they hated the smell. To each his own - I am a HUGE fan of the blue one (Fresh Scent). I would put the orange bag (citrus) way below the blue bag in terms of smell, and I haven't tried apple blossom yet. You know when the dishwasher is done and after it's drying cycle it's still all hot and steamy inside and you open the washer and the steam hits you in the face? Using the citrus scent, the smell was WEIRD... the dishes were completely spotless and shiny but the smell that came out was... part orange, part food smell. It was gross. (but once the steam was let out, the smell was gone so luckily it didn't stick on the dishes) The blue smells awesome, that first burst of steam smells super clean. The smell can cling slightly to dishes (can't smell it on bowls and plates but tall juice glasses I've caught a whiff before) but I don't mind cuz I like it. It smells like "soap", not "chemical" to me.

  Do not use this item in your dishwasher. It will strip the finish off of your baking sheets and any other metal items. It leaves the items rough and streaked with black and blue. Some plastic items come out of the wash with a sandpaper finish. I have no idea what damage it is doing to the dishwasher but it cannot be good.

  Often in the background I hear my wife cussing away because when she opens the dishwasher she learns that the packet didn't break open and none of the detergent within it cleaned the dishes. She claims she will never buy this product again...

  The elimination of all phosphates (not merely reduction) makes this a worthless product that leaves dishes filthy and filmy.

  These are the best I've ever used, gets everything spotlessly clean and shiney even on "water miser-light wash" setting. I'm told this is because the detergent includes enzymes which is the secret ingredient for such a great cleaning.

  This product is disgusting and makes me wonder what type of chemicals it is leaving behind on all of my dishes! Perhaps it is the `tablet' as normal dispensing soap doesn't give me this problem.

  We started using Cascade pacs about 2 years ago just out of curiosity. We wanted to see how well they worked cause it was a great idea. We were - and are - pleasantly surprised! Our old dishwasher improved its cleaning job and it's even better on our new dishwasher. This product does what it advertises. With a family of four (including 2 teenage daughters) saving time and money plus getting great results is a real bonus. It's terrific getting a lower price, having it delivered free - on a schedule - right to our front door with no taxes! It's a "win" situation all the way around! We highly recommend this product and Amazon!

  The only reason I rated this a 4 and not a 5 is because I was not happy with they way they were shipped. One bag opened up in the box since there was so padding or anything. At first I did not think this was too much of an issue until I discovered one of the tablets busted up and was spilled all over under my kitchen cabinet.
