  I have never seen my dishwasher so clean since we first started using it...the glisten product is amazing and leaves the dishwasher free of all water/lime stains and smelling great! I only wish I had found this product sooner!

  What more can I say? Just used one packet of the product and it worked wonderfully for cleaning out our smelly fish dishwasher. Would definitely recommend to everyone in a similar situation.

  Received a different Glisten Dishwasher Cleaner (blue box). Tried it out, and it had very little effect in my dishwasher. All the soap scum and crusts on the dish racks and corners of the tub were not removed at all. Even a second trial made no progress. So I had to remove all the racks and then manually scrape and scrub all the surfaces by hand.

  Our dishwasher had a lot of soap buildup to the point that the main dispenser doesn't open up when it should and our dishes aren't getting very clean. The inside isn't stained, just has a lot of crusty detergent build up. I've looked online and tried a few methods (tang, vinegar, etc...) to no avail. So, I found a couple cleaners online and thought we would give them a try. The first one we tried didn't work so we used Glisten and had high hopes. When the cycle finished the inside of the washer hadn't changed. The detergent build up was still there. I'm getting ready to run the 2nd pouch (box said you may have to run two cycles) but there was no visible change on the first run so I'm not holding my breath.

  This product did do some good, but not as much as I was expecting. We have thick deposits from hard water in the dishwasher, especially inside and around the detergent dispenser. Glisten did loosen them slightly, allowing me to scrape some of them loose. The inside of the dishwasher also looks a little whiter now. I also found the packaging confusing - there were 2 packets inside the box, but it was unclear if I was supposed to use one packet at a time or both.

  We have hard water and often forget to run a rinse cycle when we leave dirty dishes in our washer. This product works as advertised but I had to run it through twice to get the washer really clean. Vinegar works equally as well so I will be using that in the future.

  I purchased this product after reading reviews that it was some sort of magic cleaner... maybe our dishwasher is just too old but it really didn't do a good job cleaning at all. If you have mild stains or a newer dishwasher I'm sure it'll do the trick. But for those of us with a dishwasher that's older than our first born, Glisten dishwasher cleaner doesn't work miracles.

  i thknk this stuff ruined my dishwasher. i had to go out and buy another one after i used this stuff one time. not as promised, probably not the sellers fault, just a lousey product
