  I happened to read a Consumer Reports magazine while waiting somewhere, and they recommended several Finish products as the best for dishwashers. I am not that happy with Cascade, so I found these on Amazon for a decent price (and my favorite, free shipping!) and am very happy with this product. I like the convenience of opening a tablet and putting it in the dispenser cup, and just can't really find any negatives about this product at all. I wish I had known about this product years ago because I haven't had clean dishes and glassware like I've had from Finish. I plan to use these from now on, and whenever I see them offered with free shipping I will order and stock up.

  Consumer Reports rated these a best buy, and I can totally see why. They work very well, and even in my less than stellar dish washer the dishes do get clean and don't have water spots.

  This has been a very good product as recommended by Consumer Reports! Our old dishwashing detergent was not taking off all the food properly. These Finish tablets seem to work really well. You can even leave egg on your plate and not have to pre-wash your plate before putting it in the dishwasher. With our old detergent we had to wash every dish! Why have a dishwasher if you have to do that?

  I have been a long time user of Cascade Actionpacs. Well Finish put out the challenge that if you tried them and didn't like them, they would give your money back. So I took the challenge. I thought that my dishwasher was not working as well as it used to, but no, it was the detergent that wasn't working! Whenever I use the Finish, I get great results from my dishwasher. Things that would not be clean with the Cascade Actionpacs get clean with the Finish Powerball Tablets. Glasses sparkle more and no specks of food are left on my dishes.

  I'm surprised to read negative reviews because these tablets work great for me. We have a Sears dishwasher, about three years old, and I use the water-saver setting, so the detergent door opens as soon as I start the washer. I bought these tablets because they were highly rated in Consumer Reports a few years ago, and they recently got another top rating.

  This is great stuff - easy and my dishes are spotless. I never would have tried it on my own but it was recommended by my dishwasher manufacturer and they sent me a few samples. In comparison to the other two main brands' liquids it was like night and day...but even compared to the main brand's tablet it was easy to see the difference.

  Love the product. Bad manufacturer packaging combined with Amazon's infamous one thing in an oversized box with little to no packaging contributed to the problem.

  Costco sells these by the drum and it is probably the cheapest good solution even counting the Jet Dry.
